Are you a High School student interested in spending time with us in Mexico? Do you know of a student who would benefit from this type of unique experience? Join us for our weeklong Summer Program in Mexico City where you’ll have an eye opening experience in better understanding the water crisis in Mexico City and how this issue affects our planet at large.
During your trip, you’ll have the opportunity to meet community members who are dealing with water scarcity and who are now benefting from our rainwater harvesting systems, attend a workshop given by Isla Urbana’s interdiciplinary team and participate in fun and unique cultural activities.
Deadlines for considerations are March 15th. 2018 Trip dates are June 24th-29th. The cost is $1,500 per student which includes a rainwater harvesting system for a family or school, all trip related transportation, food, stay, program activities and administrative costs. Students fundraise for their trip with support from Isla Urbana staff. Chaperone opportunities are available for parents and teachers.
We have various opportunities in Mexico City that become available from time to time. We accept interns in Mexico who have at least 3 months available, with relative experience and who are passionate about the cause.
